Beginner Dilator Set — Dilators 4-Piece by CalExotics

Beginner Dilator Set User Guide & Play Styles

Starting your routine with a progressive silicone dilator set

If you’re new to dilation, the most important thing to know is that there’s no right pace — only yours. This waterproof dilator set from CalExotics is designed with exactly that in mind. Begin with the smallest size, apply a generous amount of water-based lubricant (check out our guide on how to apply lubricant), and let the tapered tip do the work gently. The body-safe silicone material moves with your body naturally, keeping the experience comfortable and controlled. When you feel ready, progress to the next size — no rush, no pressure.

Using your CalExotics dilator set hands-free and in the bath

The suction-cup base on every piece in this beginner dilator set opens up hands-free options that make solo exploration far easier. Press any dilator onto a smooth, flat surface — bathroom tile or the tub floor work perfectly — and the waterproof build means warm-water sessions are completely fine. A relaxed bath or shower environment can help your body ease into dilation more naturally. Be sure to clean your silicone dilator set after each session; warm water and a toy-safe cleanser keep the material in great shape.
