Arousal Serum Women User Guide & Play Styles

First-timers: how to use a cooling arousal serum with confidence

If you’ve never tried an arousal serum, Beaver Butter’s beginner-friendly formula is an easy starting point. Dispense a small amount onto your fingertips and apply in gentle circular motions to the external vulva area. The water-based serum absorbs quickly — within moments the peppermint arousal serum delivers its signature cooling tingle, a normal sign that the formula is working. Because the body-safe blend is paraben-free and made for intimate skin, you can focus on the sensation rather than worrying about what you’re applying. Patch-test on a small area first if you have sensitivities to mint or botanicals. For a deeper look at boosting sensitivity, read our guide to increasing sex drive.

Weaving a budget arousal serum into couples foreplay

The cooling arousal serum works beautifully as a foreplay addition — apply it during intimacy to heighten sensitivity right when it counts. The refreshing mint-with-a-zing scent adds a subtle sensory layer that partners notice too. Because the material is water-based and absorbs cleanly, there’s no sticky residue to interrupt the moment. A small amount applied to intimate skin before or during sexual foreplay lets Beaver Butter’s peppermint oil stimulate circulation naturally, making the budget arousal serum one of the simplest upgrades to a shared routine.
